[...] Kyoto is Lame is my rant about how the structure of Kyoto is completely wrong and how any monetary penalties should go into a big clean technology grant which each country would use to help get its top scientists, professors and businesses inventing new clean technologies instead of just buying stupid credits from other countries based on an acceptable level of pollution. I don’t buy the ‘humans’ are responsible for global warming (I didn’t say it isn’t warming, but c’mon, we’ve went through ice ages that had the entire continent under ice… and it all melted, without our help. There are natural cycles.) but I do believe that we shouldn’t pollute and that it is economically feasible to stop pollution (it will save us (and make us) money!). Argh. [...]
